Exotic Animals
At Cypress Falls River Retreat, we are a working game ranch. You can find all sorts of wildlife, from antelope and deer to peacocks and geese. If you are lucky, you may even spot these animals in their early stages of life.
Walking Trails
Find peace and serenity. We have plenty of trails on our property for you to explore. If you find yourself wanting more, you could even head over to the Canyon Lake dam for the amazing view of the sunset over the lake.
Tubing
It's hard to resist the call of the river, that is why we have tubes available for you. From the dam to Cypress Falls is 3 hours, from Cypress Falls to the Horseshoe is 4 hours, and for a leisure float there is no need to leave the property; starting at the Falls and floating to the end of the property is a 30-minute float.
Gameroom and Tower
When you want a break from the river and trails, enjoy the view of the property with a shaded breeze over a nice game of pool in the tower. This is the best place to view all the exotic animals gathering together at dusk. Get your camera ready for some unbelievable photo opportunities.
Authentic Caboose
Many river-goers often spot our eye-catching piece, the authentic Southern Pacific 1942 Caboose. This fine piece makes for a phenomenal photo opportunity during your visit.
